Some people collect souvenirs.
I collect stories.
Sometimes they become recipes.
Sometimes they become places I never quite leave behind.
CadreNomade is where all of those things come together.
Hi, I’m Karolina
I’m a chef, pastry chef, photographer, traveler, gardener, mother, wife and someone who has always felt most at home while making something with my hands.
I was born in Kyiv, studied history, worked as a journalist, trained in photography and professional cooking, and eventually built a life in New England. Over the years, food, travel, homes, gardens and photography have become less like separate interests and more like different ways of telling the same story.
What You’ll Find Here
Travel Stories
Not checklist-style travel guides, but places remembered through markets, bakeries, architecture, quiet streets and the details that make somewhere feel real.
Recipes
Recipes discovered through travel, recreated at home, and shared with the story of where they came from.
photography
The moments between destinations, the changing light, the food on a market table, the rain outside a café, and the scenes that stay with us longer than expected.
home and garden
Because every journey eventually comes home, and because homes, gardens and things made by hand can hold just as much meaning as places far away.
Why CadreNomade Exists
I started CadreNomade because I wanted one place where food, travel, photography and everyday creativity could belong together without being forced into separate boxes.
I’m less interested in telling people where they must go or what they must do. I’m more interested in noticing what makes a place memorable and how those memories continue through what we cook, grow, photograph and make once we return home.
If something here inspires your next meal, your next journey, or simply makes you slow down and notice more, then CadreNomade has done exactly what I hoped it would.
Welcome.
